Zavers' incentives provide consumers a reason to interact with a mobile ad and give advertisers valuable data about whether mobile ads are leading to sales. Because of these two factors, Zavers will serve as a catalyst for continued growth and adoption of mobile advertising.
For its core paperless coupon service, Zavers has developed a fully functional mobile site (m.zavers.com) where consumers can sign in, browse the offer catalog, save offers, access previously saved offers, and view "shopping lists" using a mobile browser. In addition, consumers can interact with the service via short codes and text messages.
By including short codes or 2D bar codes representing offers in their traditional advertising, manufacturers and retailers can provide consumers with an easy way to save incentives into their Zavers accounts and receive data about which ads are leading to engagement and purchase.
Zavers has built a flexible, extendible platform that can be leveraged by mobile providers to power offers within their solutions. We will soon announce a major partnership in this space. Check back here often for more information.
Beyond current functionality, Zavers mobile platform will continue to grow and become an increasingly important aspect of the digital promotions experience. Innovation will continue in all aspects of the consumer's experience, with services such as delivering offers to the mobile phone as the consumer enters the store, presentation of offers as part of mobile search results and location-based services, and use of the mobile device as an identification method at the point of sale.
